Following the reactivation of the Delta Chapter of Alpha Nu Omega, Incorporated at Delaware State University, the Chapter President and Mass Communications senior, Miracle Day, hosted a Dove Love table on Thursday, February 23, and Friday the 24th in the MLK lobby from 12 – 3:30. The event was held to introduce students to Alpha Nu Omega, Incorporated (ANQ) and what the organization’s values are.
Alpha Nu Omega, Inc., a Christian fraternity and sorority, was founded on the campus of Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1988 by Professor Shirley K. Russell, and the Delta Chapter at DSU was chartered on March 21, 1997. This fraternity and sorority, which is open to members of any gender, has core values of life, integrity, family, and education. Its stated purpose is “to present a Christian alternative to the students and/or faculty on college/university campuses, to minister the needs of the whole person (spirit, soul, and body), and to promote an attitude of academic excellence among its members.”
Prospective members are encouraged to be on the lookout for more events to come during the Spring 2023 semester.
