50 SHADES OF PINK BRUNCH

Sabree Primus

What a better way to start off homecoming week than a breast cancer awareness event. Wednesday October 26th, 2022 Delaware State University’s Campus Activities Board presented their 50 shades of Pink brunch.

This event took place at the village cafe from 11am to 2:30pm, hosted by DJ Doren with special performances by 1 Entity modeling group. Prior to the brunch hornets gathered at the flagpoles and walked to the village cafe in support of breast cancer awareness across campus.

Students found this event to be a huge step up from the casual fried chicken wednesday’s. The cafe had a variety of food: fried chicken, waffles, sausage, eggs, turkey club sandwiches, salad, and more.

The 50 shades of pink event was a huge success!
