On October 20, 2022 Delaware State University’s College of Business held its annual DEEP Day. DEEP Day, also known as Delaware Executive Exchange Program, is a full day of intense panels, interviews, and professional development. The DEEP Day theme for 2022 was “ being an agent of change”.

DSU students were dressed in their top business professional attire ready to engage and network with several companies. DSU hosted several companies including Subaru, J.P. Morgan Chase, Vanguard, Barclay, and more. Company representatives named Delaware State students “some of the best to work with.”

The day ended on a high note with the annual Business Case Competition, sponsored by Barclay. Every year, students are granted the opportunity to present innovative solutions to top executives, relating to relevant industry issues. This year the issue surrounded supply chain diversity, and students were tasked with coming up with new ways to ensure diversity within supply chains globally. There were over 14 groups that applied and four that made it to the finals.

The groups presented their way of solving the problem, and the executives made the final decision. This year’s DEEP Day Case Competition winners were group 4  “The X-Factor”. This group consisted of juniors Sabree Primus, Khaliyah White, Niara Allen, and sophomore Jalen Saunders.
