Homecoming 2022 Reimagined and Transformed

We are excited to welcome Hornets back to campus for the splendor, recognition, excitement, and engagement that has been a part of Delaware State University’s rich history.  This year’s theme Reimagined and Transformed speaks directly to the collective efforts to display organizational agility, care and concern for one another, and a continued effort to deliver excellence in the higher education landscape.  Homecoming is a celebratory time for students, faculty, staff, alumni, partners, and donors, but more importantly, it is a weeklong celebration of the connections made on this storied campus.

We hope that you will participate in the events throughout the week and wear your Delaware State University swag to show your Hornet Pride. We also invite you to mark this celebratory occasion by making a financial gift to Delaware State University at Ways to Give (desu.edu). The DSU story is greater than the individual. Each student, alumnus, staff member and donor is part of something larger. Every accomplishment. Every graduating class. Every career launched. Every life that is touched and changed for the better. We all share in and are united by that success.

Lastly, as we come together, let us commit to doing our part to ensure that this is a safe and healthy celebration for all.  Think responsibly, be accountable, and follow the campus safety and COVID-19 guidelines for all sanctioned/University-sponsored events.  Homecoming is also a time of celebration for the community.  Businesses and organizations may host activities that also require you to follow safety and health guidelines.  Please familiarize yourself with these requirements in advance if you are planning to attend any of these activities.

We hope to see you at this year’s events and thank you in advance for supporting Delaware State University.
