On Tuesday September 27, Delaware State University and The Office of Career Services presented “The Career Pathways Expo”. The event took place in the Martin Luther King student center on the 2nd floor and it was a huge success.
This semi-annual career fair is geared to ensuring the future of Delaware State University students, and networking in their field of choice. According to Karen, a representative from Subaru, “companies usually look for candidates who stand out and really sell themselves”.
There were over 50 companies in attendance and over 200 students who participated throughout the day. Students were able to get one on one attention with major companies such as Southwest Airlines, NFL Recruiters, several police departments, and many more.
If you missed this event do not worry, The Office of Career Services will be hosting another career fair in the Spring.
