Recap of DSU Homecoming Activities

This past week Delaware State University celebrated their Homecoming and it was one to remember. The week started off with the female Powder Puff game at alumni stadium, which team rampage won and took home the females powder puff inter murals championship.

Tuesday: The next day DSU hosted a DJ battle in the student center. Two of DSU’s best DJ’s went song for song in quest to find out who was the best on the turntables. “It was fun and energetic, all good vibes” one student said.

Wednesday: The following day DSU had a trap and paint event in the student center parlors that consisted of students bringing out their creative and artistic side and make art work while listening to their own variety of music.

Thurday: On Thursday DSU hosted a red out cookout outside of the student center, one of DSU DJ’s came out and provided the students with some music while they celebrated their homecoming and made signs for Saturdays football game.

Friday: On Friday DSU had their concert which consisted of Est gee, 42 dugg and A boogie. The concert took place on DSU practice field and the show started at 9:00. The first artist to preform was EST GEE, “He turned us up I thought he would have preformed last” another student said.

Saturday: DSU wrapped up the Homecoming week with their football game vs South Carolina State University. The game was close for the most part, but South Carolina pulled away later in the game to seal the victory. The score was 7-13, DSU football team’s next game is against Howard University at alumni stadium at 2PM. If you are not able to make it you will be able to watch it on ESPN+
