BLM: Breonna Taylor’s Boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, Files Civil Lawsuit Following Offer of Crooked Plea Deal

On March 13, 2020, 26-year-old nurse, Breonna Taylor, was murdered while asleep in her residence.

Louisville Police Department entered her home without warning and then exchanged gun fire with Breonna’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, which ended fatally.

Louisville police entered with no-knock warrant, which basically gives them access to enter without forewarning in attempt to search for narcotics which was never retrieved. Her case gained national attention as the public stood with her family as they demanded justice of the loss of their family member.

Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, has filed a civil lawsuit following offer of crooked plea deal by the Louisville police department.

Notably, these types of cases are becoming very common. There was already much fury due to George Floyd’s death, another African American, who was killed by police officers. Since, there has been various of protesting and looting as people seek change to end systematic racism.
