DSU’s Curls and Coils Association held a panel event in which male students on campus were asked numerous questions in regards to hair and the big question was, “Do you like it kinky?”
The panel was split up by two each having have a representative from male organizations on campus such as MOCA, The Fairy God Brothers, Caribbean Student Association, Eminent and representatives from fraternities Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
As the panel were asked questions generated from the audience and questions previously chosen, some thought that the panel members didn’t know anything about women hair.

“I don’t think that they had much of an idea about women’s hair and I don’t think that they’re learning as much as they could have learned, but they were able to [give their] input about natural hair which was nice to hear,” explained Syda Isaacs, event coordinator of the Curls and Coils Association.
As the men were asked the questions it definitely provided a laugh for the audience to see just how much men knew about women hair, but one man in particular had all the right answers when it came to women and their hair, the treasurer for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. George Baxter III.
“I feel like I know women well enough to know what their hair is like, what they like in their hair and what they don’t like and everything in between,” said Baxter.
The annual event was definitely one to remember as it continued to show women that men just don’t know anything about women.
