Meet F.O.R.C.E. Ministries

By: Daniel Sanvee

This year marks a fresh new start for the faith based organization F.O.R.C.E. which was founded by recent graduates Aleya Williams and Jyrah Scatliffe four years ago.

The torch is now in the hands of Marcus Trott, a senior and president of F.O.R.C.E Ministries.

Trott explained the purpose and intention of the organization lies in the acronym, “Focusing. On. Renewing. Christlike. Existence.”

He further stated,  “Our vision for the organization going forward is to be able to unite all the gospel organizations…our main purpose is to lift up God on this campus and show unity.”

F.O.R.C.E ministries invite students from all nationalities and faith, insisting that they come as they are.

Aleya Peete, a junior who is in her second year with F.O.R.C.E. enthusiastically stated, “I would attend as many ministries as I could as it was a very uplifting and encouraging environment.”

Sophomore Khiara MacElree who is new to the organization and a very active member states, “My experience has been very positive, I wish I had join this sooner. You should definitely step in and see our events.”

Although not very known on campus, the organization is making efforts to spread awareness. “We’ve put it out there, we’ve done everything we could to spread awareness. We’re not forcing anyone to come, we leave up to free will just like God,” said Trott.

Activities are held weekly starting from Tuesday to Friday with separate functions comprising of men and woman doing studies separately, and then coming together on certain days of the week.
