Taylor Addison is a senior and a member of the Delaware State University women’s soccer team. Addison was born is Westchester, NY and graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx in 2012. Addison is a Psychology major and wants to be a family and marriage counselor when she graduates from Delaware State University.
Addison started playing soccer in the 1st grade when she got a flyer for soccer tryouts and asked her Mom if she could go to tryout. She fell in love with the game and has been playing it ever since. Something that many people may not know about Addison is that she used to be a competitive figure skater.
Addison skated from the 2nd grade through the 9th grade and like many two sport athletes, the day came when she had to decide between going to the World Figure Skating Championship or go to a Soccer Tournament. She chose to go to Soccer Tournament and she says she’s never regretted that decision. In high school, Addison also played softball and was a member of the track team. Addison’s hobbies outside of soccer include shopping, hanging out with her friends, and reading.
Last season, Addison played in all 19 games and started in 10. She scored the first goal of the 2014 season. That year, she also earned College Sports Madness Second Team All-Independence Conference honors. Best of luck to Addison and the Women’s Soccer Team this season!
