On September 25th, 2015, history was made on the campus of Delaware State University. President Harry L. Williams, Governor Jack Markell and Dr. Noureddine Melikechi spoke in favor of this amazing project that has taken a little over 3 years to complete, the establishment and opening of the OSCAR building.
Engineering students, science majors, and students interested in optics now have all the technology and resources needed to do extreme research and conduct legitimate experiments. Many of the various labs in the OSCAR building are sponsored by the U.S Government, as well as NASA. Spring 2016, new professors and new classes will embark to make a better DSU!
