The Office of Career Services is known for providing students with resources to enhance their internship and job search experience pre- and post-graduation. Now students can easily search for employment opportunities through the new Hire-A-Hornet website at www.collegecentral.com/desu/.
Hire-A-Hornet is a virtual, online tool powered by College Central Network that provides 24/7 career planning services for DSU students. Through the website, students can search for jobs posted exclusively to the university, the national job board, and the national internship board.
“Considering the fact that we now live in a digital era, the Hire-A-Hornet service is perfect. It offers us a more convenient way to communicate and connect with potential employers with just a click of a button.” expresses senior, Danielle Williams.
Hire-A-Hornet is a great source for gaining access to announcements, upcoming events, and career advice documents, videos, podcasts and articles. Students can also create online portfolios which allow them to build and upload résumés once reviewed by a Career Services official.
