Nick Doyle is preparing for his second season with the Hornets basketball team. As a Freshman, Doyle only averaged a little over six minutes of playing time per game.
In time, he has since gained a career-high of 10 points and shows potential to improve. “We’ve been working hard every day, whether it’s on the track running or in the gym getting better as a team,” said Doyle.
The Hornets hope to improve in areas they fell short in last season. “This year we’ll be better defensively, and we are going to be able to get out and run a little more than last year,” Doyle said.
What can you expect from this team? “We’re expecting to be very competitive inside and outside our conference. When it comes time for the conference tournament, we hope to put ourselves in a position to win it all. We’ve set our goals high. We want to be the top defensive team in the conference, and we want to win the conference championship,” said Doyle.
Doyle hopes to see everybody on campus, and in the community, at the games supporting the team.
