Delaware State University Women’s Basketball team led by Head Coach Tamika Louis is set to host their First Annual Coaches Clinic on Saturday October 5, 2013 at 9:00am in the Wellness and Recreation Center.

“Clinics are a great opportunity to showcase our coaches, students and university.

It promotes our core values of outreach.

It engages the community in the expertise of our coaching staff’s in hopes to help their programs grow stronger.” says Athletic Director Candy Young.

To participate in this clinic each coach must pay $30 and RSVP by Friday September 27,^, 2013.

Upon arriving each coach will then receive a handbook with information on recruiting and academics, workout plans for their team, a notebook, and a copy of the DSU Women’s basketball schedule for the upcoming season.

In addition, lunch will be provided as well as a Meet and Greet with Athletic Director Candy Young, Coach Louis and the rest of the coaching staff.

Those who attend will receive a free ticket to watch the DSU Football team take on Bethune Cookman later that day for their home opener at 2pm.
